Randomized Order (Shuffle)
Normally the sections in the exam, the pages in the sections, and the questions in the pages are presented as you order them in the Exam Builder Editor.

- You can randomize the order of the sections for the exam in the Test Settings window (1)
- You can randomize the order of the pages for the Section in the Section Settings window (2)
- You can randomize the order of the questions for the Page in the Page Settings window (3).
On the Multiple Choice Questions page, we discussed the randomized ordering of choices for the question.
Shuffling Sections
- In the Test Settings window (1), Select Shuffle Sections.
- If you want to fix the order of a section, click the
icon at the top of the section and click Keep the order fixed from the drop-down menu. In this case, the order of the sections will be shuffled for each user, but the order of the relevant sections will always remain constant.
Shuffling Pages
- In the Section Settings window (2), Select sort pages randomly.
- If you want to fix the order of a page, click the
icon at the top of the page and click Keep the order fixed from the drop-down menu. In this case, the order of the pages in this section will be shuffled for each user, but the order of the pages in this section will always remain constant.
Shuffling Questions
- In the Page Settings window (3), Select sort questions randomly.
- If you want to fix the order of a question or content inside the page, open the Page Editor by clicking the
icon at the level of the relevant page and select the Fixed option at the level of the questions and content you want to fix. In this case, the order of questions and content on this page will be shuffled for each user, but the order of those fixed will always remain the same.
