How Can We Help?

Success Rates and Scores

By clicking on SCORES, in the third tab of the Exam Result Report, you can reach all the Success Rates calculated for the relevant exam.

Many results can be obtained from an exam. Which results can be accessed depends on the structure of the exam and the questions contained within the exam. For example:

  • If your exam consists of many sections and pages, the system automatically calculates the success rates for each section and page.
  • If you have added a Category/Dimension Score to a group of questions in the exam, the success score is calculated for each size/category.
  • If a Side Effect is defined for a group of questions in the exam, the total scores obtained by the user are calculated for each side effect.

Sections and Pages Success Rates

For each section and page:

  • Number of correctly answered questions
  • Number of partially-correct answered questions
  • Number of questions answered incorrectly
  • Number of questions left blank
  • Total number of questions that have points
  • Total number of questions that do not have points
  • Points that the user obtained
  • Total points
  • The percentile of the user’s score is shown.

Category/Dimension Success Rates

The participant’s success rate for each dimension/category (and sub-dimension/categories, if any) is shown.

We found that if you want to calculate the success of a group of questions in the exam separately, regardless of the section and page they are in, you need to add Dimesion/Category points to the relevant questions. If the dimesion/category points of a group of questions in the exam is defined, the system automatically calculates the success rates for each dimension/category.

  • Number of correctly answered questions
  • Number of partially-correct answered questions
  • Number of questions answered incorrectly
  • Number of questions left blank
  • Total number of questions that have points
  • Total number of questions that do not have points
  • Points that the user obtained
  • Total points
  • The percentile of the user’s score is shown.

Success Rates Of Questions By Folder And Tags

The questions answered by the participant that are grouped according to the folders and tags of the questions and the calculated success rates are shown.

When adding a question from the Question Bank to the exam, the relevant question is added to the exam along with its own folders and tags. Similarly, when you add a new question to the exam (which is not in the question bank), you can define a folder and a tag for the question. In this way, it automatically calculates the success rate by grouping the system through the folder and tag values of the questions.

As an example, in the following image, we see that 4 out of 5 questions with the tag ‘audio‘ and the tag value ‘Music Bands‘ were answered correctly. Of 5 questions with the label ‘audio‘ and the value for the label ‘UK vs US Education‘, 3 are correct, and 2 answers are incorrect.

  • Number of correctly answered questions
  • Number of partially-correct answered questions
  • Number of questions answered incorrectly
  • Number of questions left blank
  • Total number of questions that have points
  • Total number of questions that do not have points
  • Points that the user obtained
  • Total points
  • The percentile of the user’s score is shown.

Points Obtained By Side Effects

If a Side Effect is defined for the questions answered by the participant, the participant’s point for each side effect is shown.

We have seen that Side Effects can be defined for each option in the Multiple Choice Questions, and for each Matching in the Matching & Ranking Questions.

Data From Pointless Questions

If there are questions in the exam that have no points (zero) and whose reporting names are defined, the answer given for each question is displayed in this field.
