New entry type for numeric input questions is available, you can force test taker to give their answer in scientific, numeric or in both options, even score the test taker for if they enter normalized scientific answers.
Entry Options

- Numerical Entry; For better understanding of valid/invalid values, please check format options below for this entry notation option
- Scientific Entry; By selecting strict mode option, the answer will be expected in In normalized scientific notation form, the exponent n is chosen so that the absolute value of m should remain at least one but less than ten (1 ≤ |m| < 10). By choosing force strict mode option any entry other than normalized scientific notation will beconsidered as invalid and scored with zero point. if force strict mode option is not selected you can give positive or negative score to test taker if the answer is in normalized form or not.
- Numerical or Scientific Entry; Test taker can choose the notation entry type by herself/himself
Scientific Mode

By selecting strict mode option, the answer will be expected in In normalized scientific notation form, the exponent n is chosen so that the absolute value of m should remain at least one but less than ten (1 ≤ |m| < 10). By choosing force strict mode option any entry other than normalized scientific notation will be considered as invalid and scored with zero point. if force strict mode option is not selected you can give positive or negative score to test taker if the answer is in normalized form or not.
