Sidebar Feature in Questions and Test Pages

The ability to add a sidebar to questions and test pages has been added to the exam software. This feature will allow test editors to visually design their tests better, use the space more efficiently and reduce the amount of scrolling needed for test takers.

The sidebar for questions can be activated by checking a box in question editing page, between the Hint checkbox and Reporting Name text field. A new rich content editor will appear, dedicated to the content going into the sidebar.

The sidebar for test pages can be enabled by clicking the icon to the left of the preview checkbox. A rich content editor will appear, with which text, images, videos etc. can be added to the sidebar. The content in the sidebar will be easy for test takers to view along with multiple questions that all depend on the content.

While it is currently possible to enable both sidebars simultaneously, this limits the effective areas of both sidebars, therefore it is not recommended.
