Question Editor

Formatting Question Text with a Rich Text Editor

In any question that you create (multiple choice questions or open-ended questions), you can formalize your question text as you wish.

• Writing in bold, italic and underlined font
• Writing in capital and small letters
• Adding title and subtitle
• Text coloring
• Coloring text background
• Alignment
• Creating ordered/unordered lists (Bullet Point Format)
• Adding links

Using paragraphs, ordered/unordered lists, coloring, bold/italic writing, adding titles in capital/small fonts etc. make your question text to be more comprehensible.

Question Editor is used to create and update Questions.

With the Question Editor, you can:

• create Multiple Choice or Input Questions,
• update your Questions in your Question Bank,
• delete Questions

Reporting Name

Reporting Name is used the give a short-name to a Question to easy identify when checking the exam results.

You can assign a Reporting Name to a Question from Question tab (top right side) of the Question Editor.

How to Preview a Question:

You can preview a Question instantly by clicking on the Preview box on top right of the Question tab of the Question Editor.

Multiple Choice Question Editor

On the above picture, you can see a screenshot of the Multiple Choice Question Editor.

• The navigation menu is on top left (red square). You can use this to switch to other tabs within the Editor:
  • Question: to enter the Question and Choices.
  • Display: to change how the Choices appear.
  • Paste: to enter the Question and Choices with Type & Paste method.
  • Scoring: to change the Scoring values.
  • Folder: to assign a Folder and Tags to the Question
• Save button is on top right (green square).
• Reporting Name and Preview button is below the Save button in Question tab (blue square).
• Question Field is on top side of the Question tab (turquoise square). This is where you can enter the Question.
• Choices Field is on the bottom side of the Question tab (orange square). This is where you can create new choices and edit them.

Input Question Editor

On the above picture, you can see a screenshot of the Input Question Editor.

• The navigation menu is on top left (red square). You can use this to switch to other tabs within the Editor:
  • Question: to enter the Question.
  • Answer: to set the type of Answer (Text or Multimedia)
  • Scoring: to change the Scoring values.
  • Folder: to assign a Folder and Tags to the Question
• Save button is on top right (green square).
• Reporting Name and Preview button is below the Save button in Question tab (blue square).
• Question Field is on the middle of the Question tab (turquoise square). This is where you can enter the Question.
